"My Destination of Love" by Jenna Bond

I choose to be alive each day of my life.
I have the courage to grow and the faith to know who I am.
But wait, who am I?
I am me.
I have a heartbeat. Can you hear it?
I have you. But remember, you are you.
And I am me.
But together we are {we}.
We need love. Love is work. Not the 8-5 kind.
But this will be pure overtime.
Nobody can cover your shift.
+ I promised myself I'd never get fired from loving you +
Look, I even got us the same hours.
Be in this with me. Move on with me. Be scared with me.
Be my destination of love.
Hear my heartbeat.
You make my heart beat.
That's what I tell everyone around me.
They smile. I smile. You smile.
Be you. I'll be me.
And together we'll be [us].

CHANGE: to become different

.a transformation.
.a fresh set of clothing.
.a difference in the daily routine.
.a substitution of one thing for another.
.a set amount of money given in exchange.
.a harmonic progression from one tonality to another.

Perhaps the goal and reason to change is required first, before change is effective. Needless to say a certain amount of self awareness, divine intervention, or something needs to happen for people to choose to change and reach something new. If that doesn't happen, change won't happen.

Doing nothing is a choice and it gets you to the goal of nothing.

Sure, changing for the sake of changing could just be a neurosis of it's own. I'm not sure which one that would be, but it boils down to some bizarre kind of control. But there needs to be a reason that gets us to where we want to go. There are times when change is not required. And times when not doing anything is the right thing to do.

The danger though with doing nothing is that you are probably just being lazy and not taking the time to look around you and ask what is working and what isn't. Worse yet, you value something else in your life that prevents you from changing. Sometimes the early warning signs are all around us, but we choose to ignore them. None of us are free from needing to observe what is changing around us, and start asking questions.

Life is what you choose to make it.
Today is my day of change.
